Why Us

OWC (Original Wooden Casing)

Wines stored in their original wooden casing carry greater market appeal and often achieve stronger prices. Cases without OWC can, in some instances, reduce overall desirability.

Duty Paid Cases

Wines that have been removed from bond, meaning Excise Duty and VAT have already been paid, generally achieve lower market value than wines that remain in bond. In-bond cases are typically more desirable, as they offer stronger provenance and greater confidence in storage history.

Prooftag

The Prooftag system allows fine wine bottles to be authenticated when required. A number of leading wine brands have introduced measures like this to help combat counterfeit trade, which has become a growing concern as wine values continue to rise.

Ownership

It is important for every wine collector to have a personal account within a bonded facility, ensuring that all purchased wines are held directly under the account holder’s ownership. This provides capital protection and full control over the asset.
